Instrumental Assessment of the Change in Color of a Test Specimen

Developed in 1995 by AATCC Committee RA36

1. Scope

1.1 This evaluation procedure is intended as an alternative to the visual method of Evaluation Procedure 1, Gray Scale for Color Change, for assessing the change in color of a test specimen. It is applicable to any test method referring to Gray Scale except those which involve treatment with solutions containing fluorescent whitening agents (FWA).
