Notes: Scope: To develop test methods for (1) measuring the effect of preparation (defined as all wet steps prior to dyeing, printing or finishing of white textile fibers, yarns or fabrics) upon the chemical, physical and colorfastness properties of these textiles; (2) evaluating the effectiveness of preparation chemicals; and (3) controling preparation processes including methods for obtaining information about materials on the textiles to be prepared.
