1. Scope
1.1 This evaluation procedure describes the use of a Gray Scale for visually evaluating colorant staining on a control material, resulting from colorfastness tests of a colored textile. To determine if a Gray Scale is still suitable for use, see Appendix A.
1.2 Staining due to any colorfastness test may be evaluated.
