1. Purpose and Scope

 

1.1 This test method is designed to evaluate the resistance to water spotting of dyed, printed, or otherwise colored textile fabrics. Whites can also exhibit color change, such as yellowing.

 

1.2 The test method does not determine whether the discoloration is removable.
