2.    Purpose and Scope


2.1 This test method is for the determinatino of relevant physical properties of fabrics that create touc sensations during contact with the skin.


2.2 This test method applies to textile fabrics (see 5.6) with a uniform and regular surface structure. Other non-uniform materials such as jacquard,lace, openwork, etc. may also be evaluated by this method.
